Wemo Dimmer light behaviors

The Wemo® WiFi Smart Dimmer, F7C059 and WDS060 control light levels of a dimmable light bulb, including switching it ON and OFF.  This article describes what the different colors of the light on the Wemo Dimmer mean.

User-added imageBlinking GreenWemo Dimmer is activating a long-press rule. Press and hold for 2 seconds.  Create in rules to turn other Wemo devices ON and OFF.
User-added imageSolid RedWi-Fi signal is low.  Single tap the bar under the ON/OFF button to hide the red light for 24 hours.

Single blink – Wemo Dimmer has lost connection to the router.  Single tap the bar under the ON/OFF button to hide the red light for 24 hours.
 
Blinking slowly (solid for 4 seconds) - Wemo Dimmer has overheated and turned itself OFF to cool down.  It will turn ON automatically in a few minutes.
User-added imageWhitePress and hold the bar below the power button for 2 seconds then release when the light illuminates white to restart your Wemo Dimmer.

User-added imageOrangeWemo Dimmer is on Away Mode.  The switch turns ON/OFF occasionally to make it look like someone’s home.
