Pairing the Belkin QODE SlimStyle Universal Keyboard Case, F5L179 with your device

IMPORTANT:  Before using your Belkin QODE Keyboard, make sure to disconnect the Bluetooth® devices previously connected to it.  Also, if the keyboard layout of your device is different from that of your Hardware Keyboard, you must change the keyboard language to update the output.  Modifying only the iPad® or mobile phone language will not change the keyboard output.  For more information on how to change this on your Android™ device, click here.  For more information on how to change this on your iOS device, click here.

The Belkin QODE SlimStyle Universal Keyboard Case​, F5L179 enables most 10” tablets to be used while keeping the folio thin and light weight, yet strong enough to offer a solid work surface.  Using a new expandable holding mechanism, the folio allows for thin/compact multiple device compatibility and maximum protection without adding bulk. 
 
The Belkin QODE SlimStyle Universal Keyboard Case, F5L179 works with any Android™ or iOS 10” tablets that support Bluetooth® 4.0.  To know which tablets are compatible with the device, click here.  For pairing instructions, follow the steps below:
 
NOTE:  Before pairing, it is recommended to charge the keyboard first using the supplied USB cable. 
 
Step 1:
Ensure that your keyboard is switched to the ON position.  Toggle switch to the right for ON position, and toggle switch to the left to turn OFF.
 
Step 2:
Turn ON the Bluetooth of your device.
 
Step 3:
Press the Pairing keys on the keyboard of your Android™ or iOS tablet to start the pairing process.
 
User-added image Press Fn + (+=) to pair an iOS device.
 
User-added imagePress Fn + Delete to pair an Android™ device.
 
Step 4:
On your tablet, look for Belkin Slim Style Keyboard and tap to connect.
 
NOTE:  Belkin Slim Style Keyboard is the default Bluetooth name.
