How to set the thermostat of the Holmes® Smart Heaters with Wemo® without enabling the Wemo App

The thermostat of your Holmes® Extra-Large Room Smart Heater with Wemo®, F7C047 and Holmes® Large Room Smart Heater with Wemo®, F7C048 can be configured even without enabling the Wemo App. To learn how, follow the steps below.

NOTE: The Holmes Smart Heaters are for floor use only. Do not use the heaters with other high wattage appliances in the same outlet to avoid overloading the circuit. To know the heaters’ technical specifications, click here.

Thermostat control

Your Holmes Smart Heater is equipped with a digital thermostat that allows you to set the heater to a precise comfort level (60 °F - 85 °F) by pressing either the up or down button to activate the digital thermostat mode.

Step 1: To allow the heat element and fan to run continuously, set the THERMOSTAT setting on the Holmes Smart Heater’s Control Panel.

Step 2: Select your desired temperate level by pressing the up and down button on the Control Panel.

IMPORTANT: The digital thermostat has a memory; it will remember the last temperature setting before the heater is turned OFF. However, if the heater is unplugged, the digital thermostat will no longer remember the previous temperature setting. You will need to reset the heater which would reset the digital thermostat.
