How to update the firmware of the F1PP000GN Wi-Fi Phone for Skype

The F1PP000GN is a Wi-Fi Phone for Skype where you can use your Skype account and make Skype calls without using the computer.  This innovation from Belkin allows you to open your Skype account and make calls everywhere as long as there is an Internet connection.  Aside from making and receiving calls, adding contacts, and connecting to wireless networks, you can also check and update the firmware of your F1PP000GN Wi-Fi Phone.

There are two (2) ways to update the firmware of your F1PP000GN Wi-Fi Phone:

Update firmware automatically
Update firmware manually

NOTE:  Make sure that your phone is connected to the main charger or USB cable so that your phone would not run out of battery while performing the firmware update.

Step 1:
On the Home Screen, select Menu.
 

Step 2:
Select Settings.
 

Step 3:
Select Advanced.
 

Step 4:
Select Software updates and activate "check for software updates automatically".
