Using Spotify Connect with the Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE G1S0002

Spotify® Connect allows you to use the Spotify mobile app, desktop app or web player as a remote to control audio playback on the Belkin SOUNDFORM™ ELITE Hi-Fi Smart Speaker + Wireless Charger, G1S0002. This is a great feature for times where you want to listen to audio on another device and need a way to control it.

To use Spotify Connect, you will need to first make sure that the device you want to use for playback has been linked with your Spotify account. After that you will need a way for controlling Spotify. For this example, the Spotify mobile app is being used.

Step 1:
Open the Spotify app and locate the speaker icon on the control bar.

Step 2:
Tap on the speaker icon to bring up a list of playback devices linked to your Spotify account.

Step 3:
Select the Belkin SOUNDFORM Elite G1S0002 speaker from the list. This will now be the playback device you will be controlling.

Step 4:
You can now start audio playback by selecting a song or pressing the play button on the app. With Spotify Connect, you have the following functionality available to you:
