How to set up Alexa Multi-Room Music

Alexa Multi-Room Music is a feature of Amazon Alexa-enabled speakers allowing for audio playback on multiple speakers at once.  Multi-Room Music can be used with any Multi-Room Music-compatible device on your network, regardless of its location in your home.

To use a speaker in a Multi-Room Music setup, you must group it with other compatible speakers and devices.  This is done by creating Speaker Groups in the Alexa app.  A speaker can be part of multiple groups at once but can only play audio from one group at a time.

Requirements:
  • The latest Amazon Alexa app
  • Two or more Multi-Room Music-compatible speakers or devices
