Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE G1S0002 AirPlay 2 Requirements

AirPlay® is a wireless connectivity platform developed by Apple® and used with their macOS®, iOS and tvOS™.  AirPlay allows you to stream audio and video from an Apple device to an AirPlay-compatible speaker or television.  AirPlay 2 is the next step to AirPlay, giving you the ability to steam to multiple AirPlay 2-compatible devices at the same time.

NOTE:  The Belkin SOUNDFORM™ ELITE Hi-Fi Smart Speaker + Wireless Charger, G1S0002 features built-in AirPlay 2 support.  If you are using the Belkin SOUNDFORM™ ELITE Hi-Fi Smart Speaker + Wireless Charger, G1S0001, it does NOT support AirPlay functionality.  Click here for more information.

The following Apple devices support AirPlay 2 audio streaming to the Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE G1S0002:
 
  • iPhone®, iPad®, or iPod touch® with iOS 11.4 or later
  • Apple TV® 4K or Apple TV HD with tvOS 11.4 or later
  • Computers with iTunes® 12.8 or later
  • Mac® computers with macOS Catalina or higher
