How to set maximum and minimum brightness on the Wemo Dimmer WDS070

The Wemo Smart Dimmer with Thread, WDS070 allows you to set the minimum and maximum dimming levels for your bulbs directly on the unit itself. This can help when troubleshooting issues such as brightness levels not changing or bulb flickering.

To set maximum brightness

Step 1: Press and hold both the top brightness button and the reset button for 4 seconds. The status LED will begin to flash purple.

Step 2: Use the brightness buttons to set the desired maximum brightness level for the Wemo Dimmer WDS070.

Step 3: Press and hold the top brightness button and reset button again for 4 seconds. The status LED will flash white to indicate the setting has been saved.

To set minimum brightness

Step 1: Press and hold both the bottom brightness button and the reset button for 4 seconds. The status LED will begin to flash green.

Step 2: Use the brightness buttons to set the desired minimum brightness level for the Wemo Dimmer WDS070.

Step 3: Press and hold the bottom brightness button and reset button again for 4 seconds. The status LED will flash white to indicate the setting has been saved.
