After you have connected it to your home wiring and turned power back ON, the Wemo doorbell will boot into setup mode. When the status light and status bar are both blue, you can begin setup.
Using NFC Setup
If your iOS device supports NFC, you can use this for a quick and easy setup.
Step 2: Once detected, a setup prompt will appear. Tap Continue to add to your home network. The Apple Home app will take over and continue setup for you. Simply follow any on screen prompts. Once the Home app finishes setup, you can begin customizing and using your Wemo Doorbell.
Using HomeKit code Setup
If your iOS device does not support NFC, you can use the HomeKit® setup code located in the quick start guide that came with your Wemo doorbell. If you misplaced this code, you can also find it on the back of the doorbell.
IMPORTANT: Your doorbell will need to be connected to power for setup. If you are using the code off of the back of the doorbell, make sure that you connect it back to power and it enters setup mode before trying setup.
Step 2: Open the Quick Start Guide that came in the package with your Wemo Doorbell and locate the HomeKit setup code to scan it with your devices camera.
Step 3: Once detected, a setup prompt will appear. Tap continue to add to your home network. The Apple Home app will take over and continue setup for you. Simply follow any on screen prompts. Once the Home app finishes setup you can begin customizing and using your Wemo Doorbell.
