How to reboot your Wemo Stage WSC010

If you are having trouble using your Wemo Stage Smart Scene Controller, WSC010, an easy troubleshooting step to try is to reboot the controller by simply removing its battery.  To know how, follow the steps below.

NOTE:  Rebooting the Wemo WSC010 is different from performing a factory restore.  It will not remove any custom settings.

 
Step 1:  Remove the back cover of the Wemo WSC010 using a thin object such as a flat head screwdriver.

Step 2:  Remove the CR2032 coin cell battery for 5 seconds and then place it back in the unit.   

NOTE:  When replacing the battery, make sure to place the positive ( + ) side facing up.

Step 3:  Place the cover back on the Wemo WSC010 and snap it in place.

The Wemo WSC010 will automatically connect back to your Apple® Home network and should now be ready to use.
