Celebrating Women’s History Month in Partnership with Women in Tech

March 1, 2024

Throughout the month of March, we are championing the power of women’s voices and empowering girls and women around the world.

As an organization driven by our people and the community we serve, the products we build, and the planet we live on, it’s important for us to acknowledge the women that have paved the way before us and lift the voices of future women trailblazers to come.

For the second year, we are partnering with Women in Tech® USA to further advance education and awareness of possibilities within the tech industry for girls + women in STEAM and STEAM related fields. Belkin is donating a portion of sales of every unit sold of the Connect USB-C 6-in-1 Multiport Hub to Women in Tech USA, supporting them in their mission to empower 5 million women and girls in STEAM by 2030.

Women in Tech® is the world’s foremost organization for Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity in STEAM, with a mission to bridge the gender gap and empower women to embrace technology. Women in Tech imagine a world where women and girls thrive in STEAM, shaping the future of technology with confidence and excellence.

We asked women from the Belkin Women’s Network Group and Women in Tech USA to share what #InspiringInclusion means to them -

On the topic of championing inclusion, we asked Evey Gonzalez, senior director of sales: What are some of the ways Belkin harnesses the full potential of diverse perspectives?

“Belkin does a great job of creating a very inclusive and welcoming environment. They do this through a mentorship program that connects employees with supportive peers, and through employee-led VIBES of which I am a part of. My favorite program is the Belkin Women’s Network Group. I have learned so much from both men and women, both on the board and within the wider group. It is such an inclusive group of people that do so much for each other and raise each other up! It is a very welcoming and encouraging program that I am so proud to be a part of.”
