How to use the Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE G1S0002 as a speakerphone for phone calls

The Belkin SOUNDFORM™ ELITE Hi-Fi Smart Speaker + Wireless Charger, G1S0002 can be used for more than just playing music from your Bluetooth® device.  You can also use it as a speaker phone to take phone calls.  When using the Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE G1S0002 for making speakerphone calls, all audio will play from the speaker and the call will use the built-in microphones. This article will walk you through using the speaker as a speakerphone to make and take phone calls. 

NOTE:  This article is only for the Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE G1S0002.  The Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE G1S0001 does not support the speakerphone functionality.

How to make a call


Step 1:
Make sure that your phone is paired with the speaker via Bluetooth.

Step 2:
Using your phone, dial the number you wish to call and press the call/phone button.

Step 3:
Choose the speaker as the audio device for the call.

How to answer a call


If you received an incoming call while your phone is connected to the speaker, you can use the speaker to take the call without touching your phone.  When the call comes in, your phone’s ringtone will play over the speaker.  Press the Play/Pause button on the speaker one time to answer the call.
 

How to end a call


If you are ready to end a call while connected to the speaker simply press the Play/Pause button.
