Yes, chargers that are made for MagSafe and are MagSafe compatible are safe for iPhone 12, 13 and 14 users.

Neither magnetic charging nor wireless chargers are particularly bad for batteries. A battery slowly wears as it is charged or discharged over time. Leaving devices always charging can be harmful to their batteries. It's recommended to unplug the device once it is charged. 

Typically, wireless charging is a bit slower but still safe and efficient. 

Wireless phone chargers work through Qi technology.

It's easy. Just place your Qi-compatible device on a wireless charger to begin charging instantly. 

No, iPhone 11 doesn't support MagSafe. MagSafe accessories won't attach to the back of Apple iPhone 11. MagSafe chargers will still charge an iPhone 11 but the magnetic attachment feature will not work.

Yes, iPhone 12 supports MagSafe.

Yes, iPhone 13 supports MagSafe.

Yes, iPhone 14 supports MagSafe.

No, iPad doesn't support MagSafe or wireless charging.

You can use a MagSafe charger without a case on your phone or if you choose to have a case on your phone the case needs to be MagSafe compatible.

Make sure your MagSafe charger is connected to a 20W or greater power adapter or your laptop USB-C port. Place your MagSafe-compatible iPhone on a MagSafe charger. A charging symbol will appear.

Both MagSafe and Lightning are proprietary to Apple iPhones. Only iPhones 14/13/12 support MagSafe, any older iPhones require a cable with a Lightning connector to charge. Lightning charging speed can be faster than MagSafe when using a USB-C to Lighnting cable with a 20W or greater power adapter, however, MagSafe offers a convenient magnetic attachment.
