Troubleshooting wireless charging issues on the Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE G1S0002

If the charging status light on the charging pad is not lit, or is lit amber, then your phone is not charging.  Here are some items to check for when you encounter troubleshooting charging issues on your Belkin SOUNDFORM™ ELITE Hi-Fi Smart Speaker + Wireless Charger, G1S0002:
 
1.  Confirm that your phone supports Qi™ wireless charging.  If your phone is not wireless charging-compatible, then it will not charge on this dock.

2.  If you have a case on your phone, try removing the case to verify if it is interfering with the charging process.  The charging pad supports cases up to 3 mm thick when charging.

3.  Ensure that there are no metal items between your phone and the charging pad.  Magnetic cases or magnetic mounting plates on your phone will interfere with charging.

4.  Check the placement and orientation of your phone on the charging pad.  The charging pad only supports portrait orientation charging.  The base of your phone should be placed flat against the base of the charging pad.  The magnetic charging coils in the pad are aligned with the center of the pad so make sure your phone is aligned correctly on the pad.
