Resetting the OSRAM LIGHTIFY™ Flex RGBW

If the OSRAM LIGHTIFY™ Flex RGBW was previously connected to a Wi-Fi® or paired to the Wemo® Link and you need to reconfigure, you will need to reset the Light Strip so it can get detected again during the setup process.
 
There are two ways to reset your Light Strip

 
Manual Reset
Reset via the Wemo App

 

Manual Reset
 
Step 1:  Start with the Light Strip powered ON.
 

Step 2:  Unplug the power supply for second.
 

Step 3:  Plug in the power supply for
second.
 

Step 4:  Unplug the power supply for second.
 

Step 5:  Plug in the power supply for
second.
 
Step 6:  Unplug the power supply for second.
 

Step 7:  Plug in the power supply for
second.
 
Step 8:  Unplug the power supply for second.
 

Step 9:  Plug in the power supply for
second.
 
Step 10:  Unplug the power supply for second.
 

Step 11:  Plug in the power supply and leave it ON.  After about seconds, the Light Strip will flash rapidly times to show a successful reset and ready for pairing.
 

Reset via the Wemo App
 
Step 1:  Launch the Wemo App.
 

Step 2:  Tap Edit.
 

Step 3:  Tap OSRAM LIGHTIFY™ Flex RGBW.
 

Step 4:  Tap Reset Options.  Then, select either:
  • Reset Name, Rules & Data – This will ONLY reset the personalized device Name, Rules and Data of your Light Strip.  This does NOT erase the connection to the Wemo Link.
  • Erase All Content and Settings – This will reset the Light Strip back to its factory default settings.  All saved data will be lost and cannot be retrieved.
Step 5:  Once you are asked to confirm the reset, tap YesAfter about seconds, the Light Strip will flash rapidly times to show a successful reset and ready for pairing.
