The Belkin SurgeCube 1 Outlet Surge Protector with 2 x 2.4A Shared USB Charging, BSV103 provides extra outlets and power extension from wall outlets. Compared to regular power strips, the Belkin BSV103 protects valuable electronics from damaging power surges, therefore, offers additional peace of mind.

High capacity Metal Oxide Varistors (MOV) to offer 300 - 900 J of surge protection for a range of devices. Well-designed surge protectors should not rely on the MOV to absorb surge energy, but instead to survive the process of harmlessly redirecting it to ground.

NOTE: Generally, more Joules mean an MOV absorbs less energy while diverting even more into ground.

Over Current Protection (OCP) on USB ports to protect devices while charging.
