You need three AA batteries (not included in the package) to power the tracking mount. 

NOTE:  The Belkin MMA001 does NOT charge your phone.

6.  Is there a power button on the tracking mount?

Yes.

7.  How much does the Belkin MMA001 weigh?

The Belkin MMA001 weighs 0.6 lb without batteries while with batteries it weighs 0.7 or 0.8 lb.

8.  Does it have a reset button?

No.

9.  Can you use AA rechargeable batteries?

2.  Can I use it with my phone case on?

The Belkin MMA001 can be used with MagSafe-approved cases up to 3 mm in thickness.

3.  Can I use it with a non-MagSafe phone?

No.  The Belkin MMA001 is designed to be used with MagSafe-compatible phones only.

4.  Does the tracking mount require an app to use?

Yes.  With the Belkin Mount app, it follows your movements while you shoot and links directly to your social media channels.  For more information on the app, click here.

5.  Is there a MagSafe compatible case for thr iPhone 11 and make it also compatible with the Belkin MMA001?

No.  The iPhone 11 doesn’t have MagSafe capability.

6.  Does this device work with the Center Stage app?

No.  The Center Stage app works only on an iPad®.  iPads are not supported by the Belkin MMA001.

No. 

8.  At what angle can my phone be adjusted to when using the tracking mount?

Your phone can be adjusted manually 15° forward or 45° back. 

9.  Can it track a moving face automatically?

Yes.  It tracks a moving face automatically in a 360° rotation.

10.  Can I use it in my car? 

No.  The tracking mount requires a stable surface when being used. 

11.  Can it track my movement with a mask on? 

Yes.  It follows you even if you have a mask on.

12.  When the phone rotates, does the base move? 

No.  The base does not move.

13.  What happens if we remove the phone from the Belkin MMA001 during a transmission, the transmission continues or stops?  

The transmission should continue but you will have to manually move the phone to focus on the face.
