How to set up the Twonky Beam App on your Android device

Twonky Video is a way to discover interesting videos using your mobile device and beam them to your connected TV.  With one search, you can play videos from multiple websites and save your search as a channel that automatically updates with new content.  You can also customize your channels with other search terms, see what’s new and popular across the web, and access videos stored on your mobile device or home network.  If you want to view all of these videos on a larger screen, you can beam them to a TV, Apple TV® or other compatible device on your Wi-Fi.
 
NOTE:  The Twonky Beam is a free app for Android™ and iOS devices.

Step 1:
On your mobile device, go to the Google Play™ store.
 
Step 2:
Tap on the Search User-added image icon and search for “Twonky Beam” in the Search Google Play field.
 
Step 3:
Tap on Twonky Beam when the Search results appear.

Step 4:
Tap Install.

Step 5:
Read the PERMISSION details and tap Accept & download to agree.

NOTE:  The app should then start downloading and will automatically install once finished.

Step 6:
Once installed, tap Open.
 
Step 7:
The Welcome to Twonky Beam window will then pop up.  Tap Ok.

NOTE:  You will be shown some tips for navigating the Twonky Beam application.  Tap anywhere twice to proceed.

Step 8:
Tap on the X button to close the welcome message.
 
Step 9:
Choose which website you’d like to beam.

You should now have successfully installed the Twonky Beam app on your device.
