Although the Belkin Modular SKM/SKVM port buttons do not illuminate in color, it is compatible with the Belkin KVM Remote Control with Integrated Keyboard (F1DN008KBD), which integrates a remote control with a backlit USB keyboard. For organizations that utilize color as an indication of the active security enclave, the lighting built into the integrated keyboard mimics channel colors programmed to the SKM/SKVM, providing a clear, visible reinforcement for operators regarding which enclave they are working in. With SKVM mounting options from Belkin, installers can remove the SKVM itself from an operator’s desk while preserving switching controls, offering an optimally decluttered workspace with enhanced operator awareness.
