Your phone should be placed in a portrait orientation (standing up) to charge properly. If you place your phone in a landscape orientation (on its side) it may not charge.

1.  Will this wireless charging stand securely hold my phone?

The stand does not contain any straps or fasteners to tether the phone to it. The stand has a rubber pad that the phone rests on to hold it in place.

2.  Is this wireless charging stand MFi-certified?

3.  How many charging coils does this wireless charging stand feature?

It has a single charging coil.

4.  What does the light status indicator mean?

Indicator Light	Description
OFF	Charger in standby
White	Start-up (powering ON) - light will turn ON for 1 second and then turn OFF. Charging a device - light will remain solid ON while the device is on the stand. Device is fully charged - light will be solid until the device is removed from the stand.
Orange	Charging error - light will be solid until the device is removed from the stand. Foreign object detected - light will be solid until the device is removed from the stand. Device is misaligned - light will be solid until the device is removed from the stand. Temperature issue - light will be solid until the device is removed from the stand. The internal circuitry will reduce power to lower heat. If unable to lower heat, charging will cease after 10 seconds. Insufficient power source - light will be solid until the device is removed from the stand.

5. What does Foreign Object Detection mean?

When an object or device that is not Qi-compatible is placed on top of the wireless charging stand, it will detect this and not attempt to charge. This keeps both your device and charging stand safe.

6. What do I do in the case of a charging error?

When this occurs, check the following:

That the device is properly aligned on the charging stand.
That a Qi-compatible device is placed on the charging stand.
That the charging stand and phone are not overheating.

The wireless charging stand is designed to slow down charging if the phone starts to warm, and will stop charging completely if the phone remains hot.

If you notice that the phone is hot, remove the phone from charging for a few minutes to cool down. Make sure to turn OFF any power-hungry apps or services that may be causing the phone to work hard and try charging again.
