How to sanitize devices using the Belkin BOOST↑CHARGE™ UV Sanitizer + Wireless Charger, WIZ011

The Belkin BOOST↑CHARGE™ UV Sanitizer + Wireless Charger, WIZ011 features UV-C sanitization functionality for eliminating up to 99.99% of viruses and bacteria.  It is designed to provide 360° of surface sanitization to nonporous items such as keys, cards, jewelry, and mobile devices.

The Belkin WIZ011 has the following inner dimensions:
  • Width:  178 mm / 7 in
  • Depth:  94 mm / 3.7 in
  • Height:  14 mm / 0.6 in

NOTE:  The inside of the Belkin WIZ011 is for UV sanitization only.  To wirelessly charge a device with the Belkin WIZ011, the device must be placed on top of the unit.

Sanitization Modes

The Belkin WIZ011 features two cleaning cycles which while both being able to sanitize your items, have different levels of effectiveness.
  • The 3-minute cycle will eliminate up to 97% of viruses and bacteria on the surfaces of your devices.
  • The 10-minute cycle will eliminate up to 99.99% of viruses and bacteria on the surfaces of your devices.

How to sanitize devices
 
Step 1:
Plug the Belkin WIZ011 into a power source.

Step 2:
Open the Belkin WIZ011 and place the device you want to sanitize inside.

Step 3:
Close the lid completely and press the button on the front of the unit to activate the sanitization cycle.

How to stop a sanitization cycle

The sanitization cycle will stop automatically in the following circumstances:
  • The timer reaches zero
  • The lid is opened

If you wish to manually stop the sanitization cycle early, you should use the button on the front of the unit to turn it OFF.  Slowly press the button until both the green and blue lights turn OFF.

IMPORTANT:  There is a potential for exposure to UV-C light when the Belkin WIZ011 is first opened.  Make sure to turn OFF the unit before opening to stop the sanitization process.
