2.  Is there an ON / OFF button on the power bank?

Yes.  Press this button to start charging your device.

3.  Are the batteries inside replaceable?

No.
 
4.  How long can my power bank hold its charge when not in use?

The power bank features an auto-sleep mode to prevent unnecessary power loss and improve the time it can hold its charge.  At full capacity, it has been observed that the charge has not diminished more than half after a year’s time.  

NOTE:  If you do not plan on using the battery pack for extended periods of time, it is recommended to store the device between 50% to 75% charge level to preserve battery life.

5.  Is my power bank an intelligent charger (stops from overcharging)?
 
Yes, this power bank is an intelligent charger that has overcharging protection.  The safety features of this product have been tested under fault conditions.

6.  What happens if I press the button at the top of my power bank?
 
Pressing the button lets you check the remaining charge of your power bank.  It will also start the charging process on the connected device.

7.  How long will it take to recharge the power bank?
 
Charging the power bank to a full charge will depend on the following:
  • The charge level of the power bank when you begin charging
  • Capabilities of the charger being used to charge the power bank
  • When you are charging a device while charging the power bank
8.  How will I know the charge level left on the Belkin BPB001?
 
The light indicators provide an approximation of how much charge is left in the power bank.  The number of lights lit corresponds to the following:
  • Four lights - 75% to 100% charged
  • Three lights - 50% to 75% charged
  • Two lights - 25% to 50% charged
  • One light -  25% or less charged
 
9.  How does the Belkin BPB001 function?
 
The Belkin BPB001 has the following functions:
  • Auto-start - When a USB-C or USB-A cable is connected to the power bank, the output port will turn ON and immediately start charging.
  • Auto-sleep - If no activity is detected on the USB-C or USB-A port, the power bank will go into sleep mode.  The USB ports will turn OFF.
 
10.  Can I recharge my power bank and use it at the same time?
 
Yes.  The power bank is charged using the USB-C port.  You can charge another device on the USB-A port at up to 5V / 1A / 1W power level.

IMPORTANT:  If the power bank is below 25% charge level, the USB-A port will not provide power while the power bank is recharging until it reaches 75% charge level.
