This article will guide you on how to setup your Belkin router using an iPhone®/iPad®.
QUICK TIP: Make sure that your router and modem are plugged in to the power outlet. And the Ethernet cables are properly connected.
Step 1:
On you iPhone/iPad, tap Settings then tap Wi-Fi.
Step 2:
Tap your wireless network name (SSID) and enter your wireless password.
NOTE: The wireless network name (SSID) and password are located at the bottom of your router.
Step 3:
Tap Join.
Step 1:
On your web browser, enter “192.168.2.1” and tap Search.

Step 2:
On the Let’s connect to the Internet page, tap Detect my connection.

NOTE: The router will establish and test the connection then it will check for firmware updates.
Step 3:
Once the connection is established, enter your preferred Network Name and Password. Then tap the Save and Continue button. After changing the network name and password, your iPhone/iPad will be disconnected from the network.
QUICK TIP: Make sure to take note of your new network name and password.

Step 4:
Reconnect your iPhone/iPad to the new wireless network name and password of your router.

QUICK TIP: If you receive Unable to join the network error message while trying to reconnect to your network, this means that you change the wireless password but didn’t replace the network name of your network. To resolve this issue, select your wireless network name and tap Forget Network.

You should now have set up you router using your iPhone/iPad.
After reconnecting to your new network name and password, you can easily register your device. To do this, follow these steps:
Step 1:
On the web browser, enter “192.168.2.1” and tap Search.
Step 2:
You will be able to view your new network name and password. Tap Great, what’s next?

Step 3:
Enter the necessary information needed to register your device then tap the Complete Registration button.

QUICK TIP: After you register your device, click on the Thanks, take me to the dashboard button. You will be able to configure your router’s setting on the dashboard.
