The RockStar delivers power in to your iPhone/iPad, and Audio out. It does not support syncing or any other USB data, or similar protocol like Serial or UART. It only supports Lightning Audio.

What happens if I plug two sets of Lightning Audio Headphones into the RockStar?

Only the first set of headphones you connect will work.

Can I use other brand (non-apple) Lightning Audio headphones with the Rockstar?

It's compact (but not too tiny to easily lose) and simple to use. I'm not sure if there are others out there or not but this seems sturdy, well made, and well designed, and so I guess you could call me a fan (or happy enough to write a review I suppose).

Also, if only the Apple Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter is supported, why not build it into this cable? Why doesn't Belkin make a cable with one 3.5mm headphone jack and one Lightning jack? It would cut down on the additional bulkiness of having to use both adapters at once!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing accept for price I literally just got this in the mail today and it is amazing. I can listen to music and charge my iPhone 7 Plus effortlessly at the same time. This product is amazing. The reason for the 4 star is the price. The total price came to $80 including shipping and handling fee and taxes. There are a lot of add on prices. Over all this product is amazing and totally worth it if you're willing to pay for it.

As with most Belkin products, you can be assured their product will work with the product it was designed for. So, this product works as promised. The biggest issue is that this is a bulky product. I'm hoping this product would be a smaller form factor. That being said, it works as promised.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Half the time I connect, there's no sound I pre-ordered this when it was released and after 2 weeks of use I don't know if it's Apple or Belkin, but about every other time I connect with headphones and charger plugged in, I can't hear audio. I answer a call and the sound isn't going through the headphones. I can unplug and plug it back in and it will connect, but it is extremely annoying that it doesn't connect 100% of the time. I've had to say "hold on a second" while I unplug/plug it in.
