INC024 Troubleshooting FAQs
Q1. My laptop is not charging through the hub. What should I check?
Make sure a USB‑C power adapter is connected to the hub’s USB‑C Power Delivery port, not the data port. The hub supports up to 100W pass‑through charging, but part of that power is used to operate the hub, so the remaining power delivered to your laptop may be lower.
Q2. I’m not getting 4K at 60Hz on my external display. Why?
Confirm that your laptop supports DisplayPort Alt Mode, your display supports 4K@60Hz, and you’re using a compatible HDMI cable. Some devices or cables may limit output to lower resolutions or refresh rates.
Q3. The Ethernet connection is slower than expected. What can I do?
Check that your network, router, and Ethernet cable support speeds up to 2.5Gb. Actual speeds depend on your internet plan and network hardware, even though the hub supports up to 2.5Gb Ethernet.
Q4. A USB device is not detected when connected to the hub.
Disconnect and reconnect the device, then try a different USB port on the hub. Ensure the accessory supports USBC or USBA data connections and does not exceed the hub’s power or data limitations.
Q5. The hub gets warm during use. Is this normal?
Yes. The hub may feel warm when multiple devices are connected or when charging a laptop. It is designed with builtin safety protections, including overtemperature and overcurrent protection, to ensure safe operation.
Q6. The hub is connected but nothing happens.
Verify that your device supports USBC or Thunderbolt™ connectivity. The hub will not function with USBA ports or USBC ports that only support charging and not data or display output.
