iPhone® can connect to the network but cannot access the Internet

When you are using your iPhone®, you may occasionally encounter difficulties accessing the Internet even if you are connected to the wireless network.  To resolve this issue, follow the tips below:
  • Verify that you are selecting the correct network if you are in a location with multiple wireless networks within the range of your iPhone.
  •  Make sure that the wireless network settings are correct.  To check the wireless settings through the web-based setup page of your router, click here
If you have verified that you have entered the correct settings but the problems still persists, try the following steps:
  • Tap Forget this Network to disconnect from the network and erase its settings that have been previously saved in the iPhone, then try connecting again.
NOTE:  This is highly advisable if you detect a network problem and want to prevent your iPhone from automatically connecting to this network in the future.
  • Reset the network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.  This will restore all network settings on your iPhone to default, such as passwords, VPN, and APN settings.
NOTE:  In case the wireless network is using Wireless MAC filter feature, you need to add the MAC address of your iPhone to the list to allow it to connect.  For instructions on how to get the MAC address of iPhone, click here.
