Using the Mr. Coffee® 10-Cup Smart Optimal Brew™ Coffeemaker with Wemo®, F7C050 without the Wemo App

The Mr. Coffee® 10-Cup Smart Optimal Brew™ Coffeemaker with Wemo®, F7C050 can be used manually to brew your favorite cup of coffee.

To use the Wemo Coffeemaker manually, follow the steps below.

QUICK TIP:  Take note of the Suggested Coffee Measurement chart found on the User Manual to achieve desired results.

Step 1:  Open the Brew Basket drawer.

Step 2:  Place the 10-12 cup paper basket-style filter or the permanent filter into the removable filter basket.

NOTE:  If you are using paper filters, it is important that the sides of the filter fit flush against the side of the filter basket.  If the filter collapses, dampen the filter before placing in the filter basket and adding ground coffee and water.

Step 3:  Add the desired amount of coffee and gently shake to level the coffee.

Step 4:  Slide the Brew Basket back into place.

Step 5:  Fill the removable Water Reservoir with cold, fresh water to desired capacity.

NOTE:  The water markings on the removable Water Reservoir show the amount of water needed to make the corresponding desired number of cups.

QUICK TIP:  The amount of coffee brewed will always be slightly less than the amount of water poured in the Water Reservoir.  This is because of the minimum absorption of water by coffee grounds.

Step 6:  Click on the Brew Now button to turn ON the Wemo Coffeemaker.

NOTE:  Make sure the decanter and the Filter Basket are securely in place.  The Brew Now light will turn ON and will pulse to signal that the Wemo Coffeemaker is ON and brewing.  To stop the brewing process, press the Brew Now button twice.

Be sure to unplug your Wemo Coffeemaker from the wall outlet when it is not in use.
