Pairing the Belkin QODE™ Slim Style Keyboard, F5L174 with your iPad® Air

IMPORTANT:  Before using your Belkin QODE Keyboard, make sure to disconnect the Bluetooth® devices previously connected to it.  Also, if the keyboard layout of your device is different from that of your Hardware Keyboard, you must change the keyboard language to update the output.  Modifying only the iPad® or mobile phone language will not change the keyboard output.  For more information on how to change this on your Android™ device, click here.  For more information on how to change this on your iOS device, click here.

The Belkin QODE™ Slim Style Keyboard Case, F5L174 is an ultra thin, incredibly light and stylish keyboard case that gives maximum protection to your iPad® Air without the added bulk.  This keyboard case features Bluetooth® Smart (4.0) for faster connectivity with your iPad Air and with other devices. 
 
Follow the steps below to know how to pair your iPad Air with the Belkin QODE™ Slim Style Keyboard, F5L174.
 
Before pairing your iPad Air to the keyboard, make sure that it is already inserted to the case and the keyboard is switched ON.

Step 1:
On the keyboard, press the Fn button and the delete key or Bluetooth1 button.  The indicator light will flash quickly when in pairing mode.

NOTE:  When pairing a secondary device, just hold Fn button and the = key or Bluetooth2 button. 
 
Step 2:
On your iPad Air, tap Settings

Step 3:
Select Bluetooth and toggle it to turn ON.

NOTE:  The indicator light will flash blue on the keyboard.  The indicator light will flash purple if you are trying to pair with a secondary device.
 
Step 4:
The keyboard will then show up under Bluetooth > Devices on your iPad Air.  Select User-added image.
   
Step 5:
Select Pair to confirm connection.
 
You have now paired your iPad Air with the Belkin QODE™ Slim Style Keyboard Case, F5L174.
 
NOTE:  If you wish to unpair and remove the iPad Air or another Bluetooth Smart device from the memory slot, press and hold either of the pair combinations for more than 5 seconds.
