Resolving issues with keyboard and mouse or intermittent video while using the KVM

We encounter issues while using the KVM like when the mouse and the keyboard are not working properly or when we experience intermittent videos. These may be caused by a lot of factors, including improper handling during shipping or installation. To resolve these issues, you need to reseat the KVM.

NOTE: This process applies to F1DC101H, F1DC108H, and F1DC116H.

Follow the steps below to learn how:

Step 1:

Power OFF the KVM.

Step 2:
Disconnect the power and octopus cables at the back of the KVM.

Step 3:
Remove the thumbscrews from the far left and right.

Step 4:
Gently pull the rear section of the KVM towards you, unseating it about an inch or so.

Step 5:
Gently push the rear section back into place, reseating the unit.

Step 6:
Reinstall the thumbscrews.

Step 7:
Insert the power cord and only one (1) of the octopus cables.

Step 8:
Power ON the KVM.

Step 9:
Verify that all I|O are working then reconnect the remaining octopus cables.
