Renaming a Lightbulb on the Wemo App

Renaming the Lightbulb on your Wemo App can help you identify where these bulbs are located.  This article will teach you how to do this on the following bulbs: 
  • Wemo® Smart LED Bulb
  • OSRAM LIGHTIFY™ Tunable White 60 Bulb
  • OSRAM LIGHTIFY™ Gardenspot Mini RGB
  • OSRAM LIGHTIFY™ Flex RGBW
  • OSRAM Sylvania Ultra iQ LED BR30 Bulb

In this example, will be renaming a Smart LED Bulb.
 
Step 1:  Launch the Wemo App.
 
Step 2:  On the Devices tab, tap the pencil icon.

Step 3:  Tap the  Lightbulb t hat you want to rename.
 
NOTE:  In the image below, Lightbulb 1 is to be renamed.

Step 4:  Tap name and rename your Lightbulb.

Step 5:  Tap Save.

You have now successfully renamed your Lightbulb.
