TROUBLESHOOTING

Why isn't the keyboard working?  Verify that the built-in USB-C connector is fully seated in the iPad's USB-C port. Since the keyboard relies on a direct USB-C connection and has no battery, the iPad must be properly connected to power the keyboard.
Why isn't the trackpad responding?Disconnect and reconnect the USB-C connection, then ensure the iPad is running a supported version of iPadOS. The trackpad uses the direct USB-C connection to communicate with the iPad.
Why isn't my iPad charging through the folio?   Check that:
  • A USB-C power adapter is connected to the folio's USB-C charging port.

  • The power adapter and cable are functioning correctly.

  • The USB-C connection between the folio and iPad is secure.

  • The folio supports USB-C Power Delivery pass-through charging to the iPad.

Why is my external monitor not displaying an image?
Confirm that:
  • The monitor supports USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode or is connected through a compatible adapter.

  • All cables are securely connected.

  • The iPad model supports external display functionality.

  • The monitor is powered on and set to the correct input source.

  • The display feature uses DisplayPort Alt Mode through the USB-C hub.

The keyboard worked before but stopped responding. What should I do?
Try the following:
  1. Disconnect and reconnect the USB-C connector.

  1. Remove any debris from the iPad's USB-C port.

  1. Restart the iPad.

  1. Update to the latest available iPadOS version.

Because the keyboard uses a wired connection, reconnecting the USB-C interface typically resolves most connectivity issues.

Why aren't the shortcut keys working as expected?
Some shortcut key functions depend on the version of iPadOS installed and the app being used. Verify that your iPad is updated and that the application supports the selected shortcut.
