Does the cable support fast charging?  Yes. It supports fast charging with compatible devices and chargers, including Apple and Samsung Fast Charge standards and PPS (Programmable Power Supply) support.  
Can I use this cable for data transfer?  Yes.
Does this cable support video output over USB-C?  No, it is designed for charging and basic data transfer only. It does not support video output. 
Can I use this cable with USB-C hubs and docking stations?  Yes, it is compatible with USB-C hubs and multiport adapters for both charging and data pass-through. 
What if I am not getting the full 15W when charging my device? 

Several factors can limit the charging speed: 

  • Device limitation: Your device may not support 15W charging. Most smartphones, tablets, and even many laptops draw far less. 
  • Charger limitation: Your USB-C charger must also be rated to output up to 15W. If it only supports, for example, 10W, that will be the maximum.
