Important: Be sure to regularly check the light on your surge protector. If the light is not on, the surge protector may have absorbed excess voltage from an event such as a thunderstorm or power outage. It may no longer be protecting equipment that is connected to it, and you should immediately replace it with a new surge protector. If you use the surge protector when the light is not on, your warranty will be invalidated. In any case, we recommend replacing a surge protector after three years of use, even if the light continues to come on.
