Troubleshooting display connectivity issues with the Belkin Thunderbolt™ 3 Express Dock HD with 2.6 ft / 0.8 m Cable, F4U095

When using the Belkin Thunderbolt™ 3 Express Dock HD with 2.6 ft / 0.8 m Cable, F4U095 and connecting a display to the DisplayPort, some users may experience issues wherein their display is not working properly.  The cable used to connect your display plays a big part in DisplayPort connectivity and as such, good cables must be used.  We recommend trying higher quality cables whenever connecting a display to a DisplayPort port.  In addition, the following solutions should be able to assist with any display issues you may be experiencing.
  1.  When setting up a system for the first time, we recommend starting with a lower resolution and settings for your display.
  2.  After setup, we recommend increasing your resolution and settings to find the resolution that works best with your display and your cable.
  3.  Any monitors / displays with DP 1.2 setting enabled on the monitor experiencing issues, we recommend disabling DP 1.2 setting on the monitor to see if it resolves your issues.
  4.  Alternatively, you can use a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter (like the Belkin Displayport™ to HDMI® Adapter, M/F, 1080p, F2CD004b)  and connect your display via an HDMI cable.
NOTE: The above solutions may lower the maximum resolution to 4K@30Hz or lower.
