Some Sony TVs have a feature that turns the TV ON whenever it detects an input signal from one (1) of its ports. To avoid this, follow the steps below:
Step 1:
Press the Home button on the remote.

Select Channels and Input.

Select HDMI Settings.

Step 5:
SelectTV Auto Power ON and turn it to OFF.
