Lights and buttons on the Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE

The Belkin SOUNDFORM™ ELITE Hi-Fi Smart Speaker + Wireless Charger, G1S0001 provides multiple ways of controlling and telling the status of the speaker, from using your voice, the Google Home™ app or by the physical controls and lights on the speaker itself.  This article will introduce you to the physical controls available on the speaker and what their functionality is.

Button
Description
Bluetooth
The Bluetooth button controls the Bluetooth® functionality of the speaker.  Holding down the button for 3 seconds will put the speaker into Bluetooth pairing mode.
Volume down
Tapping the Volume down button will lower the volume level of the speaker.  The volume level is indicated by the status lights on the front of the speaker.
Play/pause
Tapping the Play/pause button will start or stop the music playback.
Volume up
Tapping the Volume up button will raise the volume level of the speaker.  The volume level is indicated by the status lights on the front of the speaker.
Microphone
The Microphone ON/OFF button controls the built-in microphones used for Google Assistant functionality.  When turning the microphone OFF, the speaker will inform you that the microphone is muted and the status lights on the front of the speaker will light orange.  While the microphone is muted, Google Assistant voice command functionality will not be available.

To unmute the microphones, simply tap the Microphone button again.  The speaker will inform you that the microphone is no longer muted and the orange status lights on the front of the speaker will turn OFF.
Wireless charging light
The wireless charging light indicates the status of the wireless charging pad.

Microphones
The Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE features two microphones used for Google Assistant functionality.
Status lights
The Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE features four multi-colored status lights on the front of the speaker to indicate different statuses and functions of the speaker.  To learn more, click here.
Reset
The Reset button is located on the bottom of the Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE.  This button is used to restore the speaker to factory defaults.
