How to mount the Belkin Surge Protector

Voltage fluctuations, surges, and spikes can damage your computers and peripherals and degrade their overall performance.  The Belkin Surge Protectors safeguard your personal computers, printers, hard drives, modems, and other hard-to-replace equipment against damage, data loss, file corruption, and system crash.

Cables from different devices are used for connecting to the Surge Protectors.  These can sometimes be very troublesome especially if they are not properly kept and arranged.  To ensure neatness and to avoid cable disconnections, Belkin Surge Protectors are designed in a way that mounting is possible.

Belkin Surge Protectors can be mounted to walls and baseboards.  Use the two mounting holes on the back of the Surge Protectors to secure it to your wall or baseboard.  Follow the steps below to learn how:

Step 1:
Install two screws into your wall or baseboard, making sure that at least 1/4 inch of the screw is still exposed.

Step 2:
Insert the screws into the mounting holes of the Surge Protector and lock into place.

After mounting your Surge Protector, you are now ready to set up the connections.  Below are sample illustrations:
