Front Panel

  • Image On A/C (Green, stable) - lights up solid when the RG Battery Backup is operating on A/C power.
  • Image Testing Battery (Green, flashing) - flashes when the RG Battery Backup is conducting a self-test.  The LED will behave as described if the self-test is initiated manually and periodically thereafter.  A self-test procedure will approximately last for five (5) minutes.
  • Image On Battery (Yellow, stable) - lights up solid when the RG Battery Backup is operating on battery power.  You will hear an alarm tone every 10 seconds but this will automatically shut OFF once A/C power is restored.
  • Image Low Battery (Yellow, flashing) - flashes when the battery power is running low.  There will be an alarm tone every second until the unit performs a forced shutdown when the battery power is depleted.
  • Image Replace Battery (Red, flashing) - may indicate that the battery needs to be replaced immediately.  There will be an alarm tone every five (5) seconds when this occurs.  You can conduct a self test by observing the alarm tone.  If it persists, replace the battery as soon as possible to ensure the proper operation of the RG Battery Backup.
  • Image Fault (Red, stable) - lights up solid when a fault takes place.  There will be a continuous beep when this occurs.  To resolve this, you can reset the unit by powering OFF the unit, disconnecting it from the power outlet then reconnecting it after a few minutes then turning ON the unit again.
