6.  Are there any device care or maintenance tips that I need to know when using this product?

To safely use the mount, make sure not to place credit cards, security badges, passports or key fobs between your iPhone and the Belkin WIC003 because this might damage the magnetic strips or RFID chips in those items.  If you have a case that holds any of these sensitive items, remove them and make sure that they aren’t in between the back of your device and the mount.

7.  What type of clamp does the Belkin WIC003 have?

The Belkin WIC003 features a pinching grip that is 20 mm long, 20 mm wide, and 14 mm thick.

8.  Is the clamp replaceable?

No.

COMPATIBILITY

1.  What devices will the Belkin WIC003 work with?

The Belkin WIC003 is designed to work with iPhone 12 or iPhone 13 series phones and cases.  It has been tested to work with the following phone models:

2.  Can I use it with my phone case on?

The Belkin WIC003 can be used with cases of up to 3 mm in thickness.

3.  Will the Belkin WIC003 work with my car?

The Belkin WIC003 is designed to work with vehicle vent slats of up to 3 mm in thickness and up to 20 mm in depth.  The vent mount works best with straight, horizontal vent slats, but can also work with vertical vent slats.  When using a vertical vent slat, the mount may move slightly if it is overloaded with weight.

4.  Can I charge my iPhone® while the Apple Wallet® is attached to my phone?

No.  The Apple Wallet should be removed before attempting to attach your phone to the Belkin WIC003.

5.  Can I use it with a non-MagSafe phone?

No.  The Belkin WIC003 is designed to be used with MagSafe-compatible phones only.

FUNCTIONALITY

1.  Can I use the Belkin WIC003 as a charging pad for the iPhone 12 or iPhone 13?

No, this is not supported.

2.  Can I charge my phone while it is set on the mount?

The Belkin WIC003 does not charge your phone wirelessly.  If you wish to charge your phone while using the Belkin WIC003, you will need to use a Lightning® cable and charger.

3.  How do I attach and remove my phone from the mount?

To attach the Belkin WIC003, simply place the back of your phone onto the flat surface of the mount.  The magnets will align your phone perfectly and securely on the mount.

To remove the phone from the mount, simply grasp the top or bottom of the phone and remove it with a peeling motion.  If you attempt to grasp the phone at the center and it pull off the mount, it is possible that the mount may detach from the vent

4.  In what orientations can I place my phone on the mount?

You can set your phone on the mount in either portrait or landscape mode.

5.  Can I angle the mount for a better view?

Yes.  The mount can be rotated and turned left, right, up or down for the best and safest viewing angle while in use.

6.  Can I use the vent mount with my car's heater turned ON?

Caution should be taken when using your vehicle's heater while your phone is attached to the Belkin WIC003.  Since the mount places your phone directly in the airflow path, the warm air may cause your phone to overheat.  It is recommended to disable airflow from the vent that the Belkin WIC003 is connected to when using the heater.
