IMPORTANT: Before using your Belkin QODE Keyboard, make sure to disconnect the Bluetooth® devices previously connected to it. Also, if the keyboard layout of your device is different from that of your Hardware Keyboard, you must change the keyboard language to update the output. To set up the Belkin F5L153, follow the steps below.
Step 1:
On your iPad, tap
.
Step 2:
Tap Bluetooth.
On your iPad, tap

Step 2:
Tap Bluetooth.

Step 3:
Toggle Bluetooth to turn ON.

Step 4:
Power ON the Belkin Wireless Keyboard Case.

Step 5:
Press and hold the Pair key.
QUICK TIP: The Status light will flash blue on the keyboard, and it will show up under Devices on the iPad.
Step 6:
Select Belkin Bluetooth Keyboard.
NOTE: When pairing and charging simultaneously, the orange charging light will stay solid while the blue pairing light flashes.
You should now be able to set up your Belkin F5L153.
Below are some tips when setting up your keyboard cover:
- If after 60 seconds, pairing fails, you will have to repeat the steps provided above. The Status light will flash blue when the keyboard is not paired.
- The Status light will flash blue when the connection is being re-established and solid blue for 2 seconds when connection is successful. The light will turn OFF during operation or activity.
- If you are prompted to enter a code, enter the code generated on-screen by your keyboard.
- After creating a paired link, you do not need to repeat the pairing process; the keyboard automatically links the iPad when both devices are turned ON.
- Pairing must be performed every time you want to use the keyboard with a different tablet.
- The keyboard is designed to prolong battery life and will enter into battery-saving mode when not in use. To wake the keyboard, press any button.
- If the battery is low, the Status light will flash amber for 60 seconds.
