The light indicates that the charger is connected to the car power socket and it is receiving power. The light will turn ON immediately even when no device is plugged into it or it is not charging.
3. Can this charger be used when my car is not running?
The Belkin CCB003 will charge your device as long as it has power supplied to it. Some vehicles will shut OFF the power to the 12V port when the engine is not running. Refer to the user manual of your vehicle to learn more about the 12V port function.
