Switching latency of the Belkin DisplayPort™ Based Legacy Secure KVMs, F1DN102P, F1DN104P, F1DN104W and F1DN104Q compared to the 3rd Generation of Advanced Secure KVMs
The Protection Profile 2.1 Belkin Secure DisplayPort™ KVMs, F1DN102P, F1DN104P, F1DN104W, and F1DN104Q did not offer full-time active EDID information retention. This capability was added as a new feature to the 3rd generation product portfolio (NIAP 3.0 certified) to eliminate switching latencies. As such, the latest generation of secure KVMs provide vastly improved switching latencies when compared to the 2nd generation. For customers wishing to take advantage of the faster monitor switching times, Belkin recommends migrating to the current generation of Advanced Secure DisplayPort™ KVMs including the F1DN104P-3 and F1DN104W-3.
