Resetting the router using the web-based setup page

There are a few reasons why a reset is required on your router.  This article will guide you in resetting your Belkin router using the web-based setup page.  

To restore the router through the dashboard, click here.

NOTE:  The images may vary depending on the model of your router.  

Make sure that your router is connected to your computer before performing the steps below.

Step 1:
On your computer, open a browser like Internet Explorer®, Chrome™ or Firefox®.
Step 2:
In the browser's address bar, enter "" and press [Enter].  You will be directed to the router's web-based setup page.

NOTE:  If this doesn't work or if you changed the router's IP Address and forgot what it is, click here

Step 3:
Click Login on the upper right corner.

Step 4:
Once prompted to log in, leave the Password field blank and click Submit.

NOTE:  If you have a custom Password, enter it in the blank field.  If you are still having problems accessing the router's web-based setup page, you can reset the router using the reset button, to know how to do this, click here.

Step 5:
Under Utilities, click Restore Factory Defaults.

Step 6:
On the Restore Factory Defaults page, click Restore Defaults.

At this point, the Power LED of the router will blink for a few seconds.  If the LED is still not solid after a minute, restart the router.  To know how to do this, click here.

Your Belkin router has now been reset to its factory default settings.
