How to enable the Ask to Join Networks feature of your iPhone®

If you take your iPhone® to a new location, you have to manually join a network so that you can connect to the internet.  To easily connect to a Wi-Fi, you can enable the Ask to Join Networks on your iPhone.  This feature will automatically prompt you to join an available Wi-Fi whenever you are in a new location.

You can enable this feature in three easy steps.  Follow this guide to learn how.

Step 1:
On the Home screen, tap Settings User-added image and go to Wi-Fi.

Step 2:
Make sure that Wi-Fi is enabled and then scroll down to the bottom of the Wi-Fi section.

Step 3:
Look for Ask to Join Networks and move the switch to the right to enable it.
