Belkin routers have a built-in web-based setup page that allows the user to customize settings and configure the advanced features of the device. This article will guide you on how to access the web-based setup page of your Belkin router.
Before accessing the router's web-based setup page, make sure the router is powered ON and the computer is wired to one of its LAN or ethernet ports.

NOTE: The images may vary depending on the model of your router.
Accessing the router's web-based setup page
After connecting your computer to the router, make sure that the LAN or wired light corresponding to the port where the computer is connected to is ON.
Step 1:
Launch a web browser.
Step 2:
Enter "http://router" or the router's default IP address, 192.168.2.1, in the Address bar and press [Enter]. If it doesn't work, check your router's IP address. For instructions, click here.
Step 3:
You will be asked to log in using the router's admin password. If you have not set a custom password, just leave the Password field blank then click Submit.
NOTE: The router's administrator password can be updated on the web-based setup page. For instructions, click here.

Enter "http://router" or the router's default IP address, 192.168.2.1, in the Address bar and press [Enter]. If it doesn't work, check your router's IP address. For instructions, click here.
Step 3:
You will be asked to log in using the router's admin password. If you have not set a custom password, just leave the Password field blank then click Submit.

For Dashboard users, you will be asked to enter the administrator password you created upon setup. Click Let me in! to continue. If you have not set a custom password, you should be able to log in right away.

You should now be able to access the router's web-based setup page and configure its settings.

If you are unable to access your router's web-based setup page, reset your router. Resetting the router will make it go back to its default factory settings. To learn how, click here.
