IMPORTANT: The following must be available before proceeding with the steps below:
- Wired computer (modem router to computer)
- IP address of the modem router. To check the IP address of the router, click here.
- Router's user name and password

Step 1:
Launch a web browser such as Internet Explorer® or Safari® and enter the IP address of your Belkin router in the Address bar and then, press [Enter].
NOTE: The default IP address of Belkin routers is 192.168.2.1. If you have changed the default value, enter your personalized IP address instead. If you are not sure, check your router’s IP address by clicking here for instructions.
Launch a web browser such as Internet Explorer® or Safari® and enter the IP address of your Belkin router in the Address bar and then, press [Enter].
NOTE: The default IP address of Belkin routers is 192.168.2.1. If you have changed the default value, enter your personalized IP address instead. If you are not sure, check your router’s IP address by clicking here for instructions.

Step 2:
When the router's Welcome page appears, click dashboard ».

NOTE: By default, there is no password configured on Belkin routers. You may leave the password field blank and click Submit. But, if your Dashboard is locked and you don't know the password, you can reset your router to its factory default settings. To learn how to do this, click here.

Step 3:
Click Advanced Settings.
Click Advanced Settings.

Step 4:
Under WAN Settings, click ISP Connection Type.
Under WAN Settings, click ISP Connection Type.

Step 5:
Under ISP Connection Type, select any of the following Internet connection service you’re getting from your ISP:

- Dynamic – set as the default value for DHCP connections and requires you to enter the Host Name from your ISP.

- Static – requires the IP Address, Subnet Mask, ISP Gateway Address, and DNS Address from your ISP.


- PPPoE – requires a User Name and Password from your ISP.

Step 6:
Click Save.
Step 7:
Use the ADSL cable to connect your modem router to the wall outlet with ADSL service.
Step 8:
Restart the modem router. Browse to check if you can connect to the Internet using wired and wireless connection.
Click Save.
Step 7:

Step 8:
Restart the modem router. Browse to check if you can connect to the Internet using wired and wireless connection.
Your Belkin modem router is now configured successfully.
