Saving video clips on the Wemo® NetCam iSecurity+

The Wemo® NetCam iSecurity+ is a paid cloud-based service that allows your camera to automatically save video clips to the web and alert you whenever it detects motion.  The service comes with a 14-day free trial.  Once the trial period ends, a monthly subscription fee will apply.  To learn how to save video clips to iSecurity+, follow the steps below:

NOTE:  Subscriptions are on a per camera basis.

The steps below cover the following products: 
  • Wemo® NetCam Wi-Fi® Camera with Night Vision, F7D7601 
  • Wemo® NetCam HD Wi-Fi® HD Camera with Night Vision, F7D7602
  • Wemo® NetCam HD+ Wi-Fi® Camera with Glass Lens and Night Vision, F7D7606

Step 1:  Launch a web browser and go to https://netcam.belkin.com.  Log in to your NetCam Account.

Step 2:  On your dashboard, select your camera.

QUICK TIP:  If you don’t see your camera name, make sure that the switch at the back of the NetCam is flipped down.  Refresh the list.

Step 3:  Go to the Motion Detection tab.  Set the Save Clips to iSecurity+ option ON.  This will enable the Email Notification and Push Notification options as well.

NOTE:  If you want to ignore small motion or decrease your camera's bandwidth usage, try changing the sensitivity of your NetCam's motion detection.  To learn how, click here.

Step 4:  Click Apply to save the changes.

NOTE:  If you wish to disable the feature, set the Save Clips to iSecurity+ option OFF

Step 1:  Launch the Wemo NetCam User-added image App

Step 2:  Access the Wemo NetCam Account using the app.

Step 3:  Go to the RECENT CLIPS screen.

Step 4:  Scroll down and set the SAVE CLIPS option to ON.
