Recording and viewing programs with the Belkin @TV


This article will guide you on how to record and view programs with your Belkin @TV on a Windows-based computer and iOS® devices.  Follow the steps below to learn how:

To record a program
To view the recorded program

To record a program

Windows-based computer

Step 1:
Click the Record button at the bottom left portion on the @TV screen.

Step 2:
On the window that appears, enter the title of the program in the field provided.

Step 3:
Select any of the options under the Stop Recording section for the recording to stop.  You can:
  • specify what exact time you want the recording to stop
  • specify how long you want the recording to operate
  • choose to manually press the Stop button to end the recording

Step 4:
Click the Record this show button to save your settings and start the recording process.

NOTE: The available space and space needed for the recording will also be shown on the screen.

iOS® devices


Step 1:
On your iOS® device's screen, click the Record button.

Step 2:
On the window that appears, enter the title of the program in the field provided.

Step 3:
Select any of the options under the Stop recording after… section for the recording to stop.  You can:
  • specify to manually press the stop button to end the recording
  • choose to set a duration on how long you want the recording to operate

Step 4:
Click OK to save the settings and start the recording process.

NOTE:  The recording space is affected by the resolution of the stream and the device that's recording, as well as the Quality Settings selected on the settings screen. An hour of recording uses approximately about 1 GB of space.  The space required for the DVR feature depends on the bandwidth of the user's stream. Based on max bit-rate, 2.5 Mbps or 30 minutes of recording may take around 550 MB of disk space.
To view your recorded program
Step 1:
On the Belkin @TV Player screen, click Player.

Step 2:
Select Playlist.

QUICK TIP:  You can also click on the Playlist icon on the Belkin @TV Player screen to see your recorded programs.
