Updating your Belkin Advance N900 DB Wireless Router's firmware may be necessary if you are experiencing issues using the device or it is not working properly.
This article will guide you on how to update your router's firmware through its web-based setup page.
Download the firmware file for your router from the Belkin Support Site and save it on your computer. Click here to download the firmware.
Connect the computer to one of the LAN ports on the router using an Ethernet cable.
On your computer, open any browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari®). In the address bar, enter "192.168.2.1" and press [Enter] on your keyboard. You will then be directed to the router's web-based setup page.
Click Login on the upper right corner of the window.
Once prompted to log in, leave the Password field blank and click the Submit button.
Under the Utilities section, click Firmware Update.
Click on the Browse button and locate the firmware file that you had downloaded earlier then click Update.
Click OK on the pop-up windows that would appear and wait until the screen shows the progress of the update process.
Once the progress bar is full, you will be notified to wait for a number of changes as the changes are being applied.
You should now have successfully updated the firmware of your router.
