The Belkin Auto-Tracking Stand Pro with DockKit, MMA008, features an internal battery capable of powering the tracking functionality of the Belkin Stand Pro for up to 5 hours when not connected to a USB-C® PD power supply. At any time, the Belkin Stand Pro can be turned off to conserve the internal battery.

NOTE: If the Belkin Stand Pro is connected to a 30W USB-C PD power supply, it will continue to charge the internal battery and any connected MagSafe®-compatible phone regardless of whether it is turned on or off.

The status L.E.D. under the Belkin logo will indicate the tracking status of the Belkin Tand Pro. When not illuminated, the Belkin Stand Pro is powered off.

To turn the Belkin Stand Pro ON:

Press and hold the Belkin Stand Pro power button for 2 seconds. The status L.E.D. will begin flashing white when it is powered on.

To turn the Belkin Stand Pro OFF:

Press and hold the Belkin Stand Pro power button for 2 seconds. The status L.E.D. will turn off to show it is powered down.

TIP: If holding down the power button does not turn on the Belkin Stand Pro, connect it to a 30W or higher USB-C power supply for 5 minutes to start charging the internal battery, and then try again.

When using the Belkin Stand Pro, there are some essential considerations to ensure proper operation of the unit and the safety of both the Belkin Stand Pro and your iPhone.

Allow ample clearance for proper rotation and tracking

The Belkin MMA008 should be allowed at least 6 inches of clearance on all sides. This ensures room to rotate without being impeded or having your iPhone collide with an object, knocking it off the stand. Also, objects that are too close to the Belkin MMA008 may block the view of your phone's camera, leading to your video app losing track of you.\n

Ensure proper, stable placement during use

The Belkin MMA008 should be placed on a flat, stable surface or securely connected to a tripod or mount. This will ensure that it will not become off balance while rotating. If the unit becomes off balance, it risks damaging the Belkin MMA008 and your iPhone.

When using a tripod or mount, the Belkin Stand Pro should be as close to a 90-degree vertical angle as possible with the ground. Using at an angle perpendicular to the ground can cause damage to the Belkin MMA008 motors or exhibit rotation difficulties. \n\n
